The Mott Hall School was one of 427 schools across the nation to receive the United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award for excellence in 2003 and 2004.
Despite the challenges of the new Common Core State Exams, Mott hall students’ scores continue to be some of the highest in New York City.
In 2015, one third of our graduating class were accepted to Specialized and private high schools.
The Mott Hall School is dedicated to the academic and personal development of its students who will become tomorrow's leaders. Our mission is to develop future leaders in Mathematics, Science and Technology by providing a world-class education that prepares students for college and higher learning. The academically rigorous education that is provided includes many enriched and extended intellectual learning experiences inside and outside the school building. Students are asked to question, anticipate and solve problems, assume personal responsibility, and emerge as enthusiastic lifelong learners and independent thinkers motivated by the pursuit of academic excellence and social responsibility.
The students who graduate from Mott Hall will be independent and inquisitive young people on the path to being life long learners and doers.
